Young Volunteers + Leaders

 At the start of every new school year there is a new cohort of Year 12 students who are entering into the Step into Sport volunteering programme which is delivered in the School Sport Partnership’s Leadership Academies across the county.

These young people are looking to help both school and community club activities and have a range of skills that includes coaching, helping with events, officiating, managing facilities and IT & website work.
The Herts Sports Partnership support the School Sports Partnerships in finding club volunteer placements for those young people who do not already have a link with a local club.

If your club needs more volunteer help from enthusiastic 16-18 year olds
then  check the Placement Criteria document that operates for Step into Sport
and send full details of the volunteering placement at your club to Peter
Simmons p.j.g.simmons@herts.ac.uk.

Please include full club details, details of volunteer work and the contact details of your Club Volunteer Coordinator.
